Youth volunteer course opened in Katha Tsp

B-1Katha, 21 Oct — With the aim of carrying out rural development tasks on a wider scale, the youth volunteer livestock breeding and fisheries course 1/2014 kicked off at the office of District Management Committee in Katha of Sagaing Region on Monday.
Secretary of Katha District Management Committee U Win Khaing, Head of District Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department Dr Kyaw Tun and Head of District Fisheries Department U Win Tin explained the purpose of conducting the training.
Head of District Department of Rural Development U Thaung Myint said that officials of the relevant ministries will give lectures to the trainees under the guidance of the Union Minister for Livestock, Fisheries and Rural Development and urged the trainees to studies the subjects and lectures in a short time abiding by the course disciplines.
A total of 24 trainees from Katha Township and six each from Htigyaing, Indaw, Bamauk, Kawlin, Wuntho and Pinlebu townships are attending the course from 20 to 24 October.—District IPRD
