Yadanabon University, Gifu University of Japan sign MoU on exchange of students

Yadanabon University in Mandalay Region and Gifu University of Japan signed an MoU on exchange of students and researchers and doing research works at Gifu University in Japan on 16 December 2014.
Rector Dr Khin Maung Oo of Yadanabon University and Vice President Dr Fumiaki Suzhki signed the MoU. Rector Dr Khin Maung Oo, Physics Lecturer Dr Yi Yi Oo and a representative of Meiktila University attended the GIFU UNIVERSITY’s GU-GLEE (Global Environment & Energy Course) with the participation of 24 partner universities from 14 countries including the US, Australia and Korea.
After the meeting, they signed an agreement on promotion of cooperation between partner universities and Gifu University, sending students and researchers to Gifu University and setting up of a research networks among the universities.
According to the agreement, Gifu University will exchange five Japanese students and five students each from partner universities to confer master degrees on them. Students and researchers may apply for Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Zoology and Botany subjects to attend Gifu University.–Min Htet Aung (Mandalay Sub-printing House)
