U-19 MNL 2019: Zwekapin beat Hantharwady 3-1

ZWEKAPIN United beat Hantharwady United 3-1 in their U-19 Myanmar National League 2019 match, held on 20 June at Salin Stadium in Yangon.
The match was an exciting one with both teams using talented players and launching open attacks from the kick-off. Zwekapin scored the opening goal at 28 minutes. The goal was scored by youth player Aung Ko Ko. Ten minutes later, Zwekapin United got a penalty due to the opposing team’s foul in penalty area. The penalty was successfully converted by Htoo Htoo.
After gaining two early goals, Zwekapin controlled the match with smart and steady play.
But Hantharwady managed to take advantage of breaches in Zwekapin’s defence, with Sithu Aung scoring a flawless goal for his team, taking the score at the end of the first half to 2-1.
The second half saw aggressive play by both teams as they put in more efforts to score.
At 55 minutes, Zwekapin United scored a penalty after a Hantharwady defender touched the ball with hand in the penalty area. The penalty was scored by Kyaw Kyaw Htet, taking Zwekapin United’s goal tally to 3.
In the later minutes, no more goals were scored, and the match ended 3-1, in favour of Zwekapin United.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
