State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, attended the International Court of Justice atThe Hague, Netherlands, to hear the first oral proceeding of Gambia for provisional measures against Myanmar at 10 am local time yesterday.
The court proceding was also attended by Union Ministers U Kyaw Tint Swe, and U Kyaw Tin, Myanmar Ambassador to the Netherlands U Soe Lin Han and members of the Myanmar delegation, local and foreign lawyers for the Myanmar government and members of legal support group. Myanmar people who came to support the State Counsellor and Myanmar expats in the Netherlands and other foreign countries cheered and gave her moral support outside the ICJ.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
