Senior officials from Myanmar and Viet Nam held a preparatory meeting yesterday for the 10th Myanmar-Viet Nam Joint Committee Meeting which is scheduled on 17 September.
The meeting held at M Gallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw focused on promotion and smooth functioning in bilateral trade, investment, energy, tax, agriculture, forest, livestock, fishery, transport, consumer protection, banking and cooperation in regional affairs.
The meeting was attended by Director General of Department of Trade U Min Min and representatives from the departments of Ministry of Commerce, private sectors, Mr Nguyen Phuc Nam, Deputy Director of the Asia-Africa Market Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Vietnamese representatives. —MNA
