Research Methodology, PR & Info Management Training Programme held in Nay Pyi Taw

Ministry of Information and Panna Institute jointly conducted a Research Methodology, Public Relations (PR) and Information Management Training Programme course with the support of Konrad Adenauer Stifung (KAS) Myanmar at Ministry of Information assembly hall yesterday morning.
At the event, Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun explained about the course being conducted for ministerial spoke persons and information officers and of the subjects in the course being systematically selected for the present moment’s requirements. During the time when changes in situation and technologies were occurring, we need to catch up and be in accord with it and thus trainees attending the course are urged to attend and participate in it enthusiastically. The knowledge gained at the course was to be used in work place for the best benefit of the country and then passed on to colleagues who didn’t attend the course said the Deputy Minister.
Next, Dr. Norbert Eschborn from KAS explained about the reason for Panna Institute and KAS jointly conducting the course.
Afterwards, course trainer Dr. Tin Maung Maung Than of Panna Institute explained about how the course came about.
The Research Methodology, Public Relations and Information Management Training Programme course will be held until 7 June for five days and a total of 50 trainees from ministerial departments attended the course. – MNA
