President U Win Myint received a delegation led by Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mr. Prak Sokhonn, who is also deputy prime minister, at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the success of the Myanmar-Cambodia Joint Commission meeting, promoting cooperation between the foreign ministries of both countries, increasing collaboration in agriculture, trade and tourism, working towards signing MoUs for cooperation in education and cultural sectors, ending double taxation, increasing investments, and planning direct airways between Mandalay and Siem Reap.
Also present at the meeting were Union Minister for Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Ohn Maung, Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin, and officials from the Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by Cambodian Ambassador Mr. Sok Chea. —MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
