Myanmar National League scheduled to resume on 16 July

Myanmar National League matches which have postponed for the global outbreak of pandemic in March is being planned to restart on 16 July, according to the Myanmar National League committee meeting held at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel in Yangon yesterday.
President of the Myanmar Football Federation and Myanmar National League Committee, U Zaw Zaw, vice president of the MFF and MNL Committee, Dr Sai Sam Tun, vice president of the MFF and owner of the Yangon United, U Pye Phyo Tay Za, owners of the Myanmar National League clubs, football authorities from MFF and MNL attended the meeting to discuss restarting the Myanmar National League matches next month.
Upon restarting the MNL matches, football authorities will request permission to hold the national league matches from government in the couples of day.
When the government allowed to hold the tourney, Myanmar National League matches will be held from 16 July to 12 September at Thuwunna Stadium, Yangon United Sports Complex and Padonmar Stadium and Myanmar National League II matches will be launched form 22 July to 28 August at Padonmar Stadium, Salin Stadium and Bahan M-3 artificial turf and South Dagon Stadium.
Next, General Aung San Shield matches will be held from 16 July to 26 September at Thuwunna Stadium, Padonmar Stadium, Salin Stadium, Bahan M-3 artificial turf and South Dagon Stadium.
Detailed fixtures will be released soon, according to the Myanmar National League Committee.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
