MoSWRR distributes healthcare items at IDP camps in Kachin, Shan, Rakhine states

THE MINISTRY of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement has provided healthcare items to the camps of internally displaced persons in the battle against COVID-19 in Kachin, Shan and Rakhine states.
The two IDP camps in Bhamo Township of Kachin State received 1,278 bottles of hand sanitizer, 4,005 soaps, 20 bags of lime powder, a thermometer, 16 sets of hand washing basin, 8,010 cloth face masks, two hand speakers and two memory sticks with audio files of COVID-19 awareness campaign yesterday.
Similarly, one IDP camp in Kutkai Township of Shan State received 952 cloth face masks, 136 bottles of hand gel and two vinyl sheets printed COVID-19 awareness campaign.
Similarly, 17 temporary IDP camps in Ponnagyun and Yathedaung townships of Rakhine State received 3,170 bottles of hand sanitizer, 130 bags of lime powder, 17 thermometers, 17 sets of hand washing basin, 4,524 surgical masks, 8,746 cloth face masks, 17 hand speakers and 17 memory sticks with audio files of COVID-19 awareness campaign. The ministry is providing both material and immaterial supports in Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states to prevent and control of COVID-19 diseases. — MNA (Translated by TTN)
