The Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry, in coordination with GIZ Myanmar, introduced the Myanmar Project Bank website yesterday morning.
The launching ceremony of ‘Myanmar Project Bank’ was held at Thingaha Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw, and Union Minister U Soe Win highlighted 3 Cs (Coordination, Cooperation and Communication) to be able to sustain the project bank.

Deputy Ministers U Set Aung and Dr Min Ye Paing Hein explained the website and its future plan.
The website is aimed to support communications among the government agencies and development partner organizations through predictable and transparent systems in implementing the Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (MSDP), to help local and foreign private sectors access to MSDP, and to establish a simple and consistent mechanism for implementation.
The launching ceremony was also attended by Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint, Yangon Mayor U Maung Maung Soe, Permanent Secretaries, Directors-General, Managing Directors, officials from relevant ministries and State/Region governments, representatives from development partner organizations and private sector and the invited guests. —MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
