Kanaung Town to get more than 3,000-foot-long concrete road

Myanaung Township Department of Rural Development in Ayeyawady Region is resurfacing the Myanaung-Kanaung road with concrete in fiscal 2014-15.
Under supervision of officials of the Township Department of Rural Development, the 3,900-foot-long and 12-foot-wide road is being covered with concrete to increase the durability of the road, particularly during heavy rains.
Kanaung Town was formed with five wards on 3 September, 1973. The local authorities opened the administrative office on 15 October, 2014 for carrying out development tasks of the town.–Win Bo (Township IPRD)
