JFA president contacts MFF president on his recovery from COVID-19

The Japan Football Association (JFA) president Kozo Tashima recently contacted the Myanmar Football Federation president U Zaw Zaw about his recovery from the corona virus COVID-19 disease, according to the yesterday’s statement with the Myanmar Football Federation.
The 62-year-old Tashima visited Europe and the US on football business from 28 February to 8 March. He had a presentation at the UEFA meeting in Amsterdam on 2 March, went to the US for women’s soccer events, and arrived back in Tokyo on 8 March.
Kozo Tashima have tested COVID-19 positive last month and he got fever starting on 17 March but now he is free from the disease, according to his message sent to the MFF.
Upon his recovery Tashima said to the media that he is now free from COVID-19 disease and has expressed his heartfelt thanks to health care providers for giving him special health care.
And Tashima also sent his thanking message to the MFF president that he was thanking to all members of Myanmar Football Federation led by MFF president U Zaw Zaw for wishing him to get recovery from the pandemic.
In his message he has encouraged to the similar COVID-19 infected person that all the patients can be recovered and no need to fear.
He has also pointed out the key points to combat the disease: having sufficient nutrients, supplements and getting enough sleep and do not need to be worried. In this way, the COVID-19 pandemic will disappear all over the world, he continued.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
