Japan supports peace-making process in Myanmar

Nay Pyi Taw, 12 Nov—President U Thein Sein held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Room 2006 of Myanmar International Convention Centre at 1 pm on Wednesday They discussed cooperation in health and education sectors, development of construction sector and constructional human resources, enhancement of SME sector, development Thilawa and Dawei industrial zone, reform in Yangon City transport system, supply of electricity and development, peace and stability in Rakhine State.
The Japanese Prime Minister said he supports democratization process in Myanmar and pledged to provide assistance for the work process. He expressed his support for the peace-making process in Myanmar and his expectation for signing of the nationwide ceasefire agreement in the near future.
