Defense star Thein Than Win joins Yangon United

Former Yadanarbon FC defender Thein Than Win has signed a one-year contract with Yangon United, according to the football club. “It is an amazing offer from Yangon United and I will try my best to fit into the team.
With my participation, I want to raise the team ranking higher in the Myanmar National League,” said Thein Than Win.
“Trust me Yangon United fans that I will do my best and I can’t wait to show my skill on the pitch,” he added.
Thein Than Win began playing football for Magwe FC in 2009. Next, he moved to Shan United FC in 2012 for four years.
His first international debut was in 2009 with the Myanmar National U-19 Team.
Thein Than Win represented the Myanmar National U-23 team in the 2013 SEA Games, which was held in Nay Pyi Taw Myanmar. In 2013, he was sidelined after suffering an injury. But he returned in 2016 for the National Team.
Also, he moved to Yadanarbon in 2016. And then in 2019 he transferred to the Divison 1 club of Thailand Ratchaburi Mitr Phol FC for the first round. Thein Than Win is currently playing as the reliable defender for the Myanmar National Team.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
