Dawei Township inaugurates two asphalted roads

A ceremony to inaugurate Thahaya asphalted road was held in Zaydan Ward, Myeik, Taninthayi Region, on 3 January.
The local people, Township Development Affairs Committee and Pyidaungsu Hluttaw funded K12.4 million for construction of a 650 feet long and 12 feet wide road.
Senior Engineer U Nay Myo of Township Development Affairs Committee explained facts about construction of the asphalted road.
Myeik District’s deputy commissioner U Aung Kyaw Tun and officials formally opened the newly-repaved road and strolled along it.
Likewise, Yuzana asphalted road was also opened in Daweikan Ward, Myeik, on 3
January.
The new road is 630 feet long and 18 feet wide. Local people and Development Affairs Committee K16.1 million for the construction of the road.
