COVID-19 supplies reach IDP camps in Kachin, Rakhine states

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, in cooperation with related departments and organizations, has implemented prevention, control and response actions against COVID-19 at the IDP camps in Kachin and Rakhine states.
In Kachin State, MSWRR officials provided 989 hand sanitizer bottles, 2,370 soap bars, 30 lime powder bags, 4 infrared thermometers, 10 wash basins, 16 surgical masks, 4, 708 cloth masks, 3 hand speakers, 3 memory sticks with COVID-19 awareness audio files, and a vinyl for 3 IDP camps in Momauk and Waingmaw townships.
In Rakhine State, the officials distributed 11, 512 cloth masks, 5 hand speakers, and 5 memory sticks with COVID-19 awareness audio files to nine IPD camps in Buthidaung Township.
The ministry is not only continuously implementing control and response actions against COVID-19 but also organizing educative programmes, awareness activities and moral supports in all regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. —MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
