Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of Japan to Myanmar Mr. Ichiro Maruyama at the Bayintnaung guest house in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting matters relating to Japan’s stance in the international arena on the government and the Tatmadaw resolving events in Rakhine State Buthidaung and Maungtaw region, status of forming and works conducted by Court of Inquiry on incidents related to events in Rakhine State and the Tatmadaw’s work on achieving internal peace were discussed and views exchanged according to news released by the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services. — MNA (Translated by Zaw Min)
