Ceasefire talks likely to resume in a few days

The Union Peace Working Committee is reported to have its seventh meeting in a few days with the Nationwide Ceasefire Coordination Team at Myanmar Peace Centre here, according to officials at MPC.
The five-day meeting will focus on eight remaining points of the draft nationwide ceasefire deal, including conflict reduction, ceasefire supervision and restrictions of military operations.
U Aung Naing Oo, joint director of peace talks at MPC, said the meeting is expected to take place on 17 March.
