AFC Cup 2020: Shan United suffers 1-3 loss against PSM Makassar

Shan United lost to Indonesian club PSM Makassar F.C. by two goals in the Group H match of the AFC Cup 2020 yesterday at the Madya Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.
PSM Makassar made an early opening goal at three minutes, and the goal was scored by Giancarlo.
Shan United tried to equalize the goal, but missed scoring opportunities due to misunderstandings between the forward players. The first half ended with a 1-0 score in favor of PSM Makassar. PSM Makassar stayed strong in the second half, with YakobSayuri scoring the second goal for the team at 53 minutes. The goal lifted the team’s spirit and they redoubled efforts for their victory.
Shan United attacked back and created goal chances, but PSM stayed strong in their defense. Shan United managed a lone goal at 79 minutes. The goal was scored by Htet Phyo Wai.
The winning goal for PSM was scored by Ferdinand Sinaga just before the match ended, handing the team a 3-1 win over Shan United. — Lynn Thit (Tgi)
