728 Myanmar nationals return from Thailand via Myawady border on 5 July

A total of 728 Myanmar migrant workers returned from Thailand through the Myawady Friendship Bridge (2) on 5 July, according to local authorities.
Kayin State Hluttaw’s Deputy Speaker Daw Nan Thuzar Win, Hluttaw Representative U Thant Zin Aung, District Administrator U Tay Zar Aung, Township Administrator U Phyo Zaw Ko Ko, and officials concerned checked their health condition and fulfilled their requirements.
A total of 41,088 Myanmar migrant workers have returned home through the border crossing since 1 May 2020.
