A woman who carried yabba pills (a synthetic-amphetamine based narcotic) was seized by the police at Kitsapanadi highway terminal in Sittway on 25 December.
Acting on a tip-off, a combined team involving members of No. 47 Anti-Drugs Squad searched a Mandalay-Sittway highway bus and found 5,970 yabba pills from the 45 year old Aye Kham Aung. The suspect is charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
