Woman army cadets graduate from officer training

THE second graduation of female army cadets took place at the Officer Training School (Army) in Hmawbi township, Yangon Region, yesterday, with a speech by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
In his speech, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing praised Myanmar women for their professional integrity and strong sense of nationalism.
The world has seen female military officers of different ranks carry out operations on battle fronts, with the commander-in-chief saying that developed countries have trained female fighter pilots.
He urged the graduating officers to continue to sharpen their military skills and organisational skills, pointing out the need for the defence services to protect and respect the State Constitution and pay priority to the socioeconomic interests of the national races without discrimination.
