VICE President U Nyan Tun left Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning for United States to attend the US-ASEAN Summit to be hosted in Rancho Mirage, California from 15 to 16 February.
The Myanmar delegation led by the vice president was seen off at the airport by Vice President Dr Sai Mauk Kham, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win and Union Ministers
Lt-Gen Ko Ko, U Tint Hsan and U Aye Myint.
On arrival at Singapore’s Changi Airport in the afternoon, the Myanmar delegation was welcomed by the Myanmar ambassador to Singapore, embassy staff and military attachés.
Vice President U Nyan Tun was accompanied by Union Ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, U Ye Htut and Dr Kan Zaw, Dr Tun Shin and officials. The Myanmar delegation stopped over in Singapore on the way to the US.
