VP U Henry Van Thio inspects sites to hold 22nd Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competition

Accompanied by Union ministers, Vice President U Henry Van Thio, Chairman of the Leading Committee for 22nd Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competitions, inspected sites and lodging hostels for participants yesterday.
On arriving at Ywa Taw camp in which contestants will lodge, the vice president was reported by responsible officials on accommodation, environmental sanitation, preparation of emergency health care service, transportation of contestants to designated places, situations on security and control of discipline, followed by the inspection of clinics and dining rooms.
Afterwards, the vice president and party visited Yezin University, Nay Pyi Taw, inspecting preparations for competition places. During the inspection, Vice President U Henry Van Thio stressed the need for systematic examination on food in protection against cholera disease, ensuring safety, security and transportation.
The 22nd Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competitions — 2016 will be held from 18th to 25th October.
