Vice Senior General Soe Win holds talks with French Army Chief at Eurosatory 2016

DEPUTY Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win held talks with General Jean-Pierre Bosser, Chief of Staff of the French Army, at ‘Eurosatory 2016’, international land and air-land defense and security exhibition, in France on Wednesday.  The two representatives discussed matters relating to strengthening bilateral ties between the two armed forces and the potential for cooperation.
Following visits to the booths of the French Ministry of Defence, the Vice-Senior General attended a luncheon hosted by the Chief of Staff of the French Army together with military chiefs of NATO.
In the afternoon, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief observed booths of companies and visited the Eiffel Tower. The Vice Senior General and party left France on Thursday. They were seen off at Charles de Gaulle Airport by Myanmar Ambassador to France U Han Tun and officials.
The Myanmar military delegation was welcomed back at Yangon International Airport by the commander of Yangon Command and senior military officers.
