Vice President U Henry Van Thio attends the ceremony marking prayers about the Birth of Jesus & Christmas friendship dinner

Vice President U Henry Van Thio and Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than, officials and priests are seen at the ceremony to mark prayers about the birth of Jesus & Christmas friendship dinner.

U Henry Van Thio, Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, was present at a ceremony to mark prayers about the birth of Jesus & Christmas friendship dinner held at 6 pm on December 16 under the sponsorship of Nay Pyi Taw Christ Church Council.
Present at the ceremony held at Myanmar Baptist Church Council at Shwechi Ward in Pyinmana were Mahn Win Khaing Than, Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw, U T Khun Myat, Deputy Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw, U Aye Tha Aung, Deputy Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw, Thura U Aung Ko, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture priests, ministers, pastors from the Nay Pyi Taw Christ Church Council, invited guests and responsible officials.
According to the agenda, Dr Tin Maung Aye, Reverend Priest, chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Christ Church Council gave a welcoming address on the birthday of Jesus Christ, followed by a speech on loving kindness by Thura U Aung Ko, Union Minister. Afterward, U Htun Hla, reverend priest, gave words of praise on the virtue of the sacred gospel of Jesus, followed by U Saw Shwe Lin’s words of special prayers.
After posing for documentary photos, the Vice President attended the friendship dinner hosted by the Christ Church Council in Nay Pyi Taw.
