University of Forestry alumni pay respect to retired professors

THANKS were given for the contributions made by former faculty members at the University of Forestry in Yaysin Zayathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, by students from the class of 2005 on 18 October.
Former rector U Aung Kyin and other faculty members gave speeches and the 40 former faculty members were presented with cash and gifts from the alumni. They received a total of K36.2 million (US$28,209), some of which was donated by students living abroad.
A total of 150 guests, including retired and current faculty members and students, attended the event.
