Union Information Minister attends fifth China-Eurasia Expo

UNION Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint attended the opening ceremony of the fifth China-Eurasia Expo held with its theme of ‘Mutual Discussions, Joint Development and Sharing Silk Road: Opportunities and Future’ in Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous
Region in China.
A variety of products manufactured by 2,192 companies from 57 countries are set to be put on display at the international trade fair that will run for four days until Sunday.
According to organisers, 3,500 purchasers from various countries are expected to be present at this year’s event.
A total of 15 ministerial fora and activities were held with the participation of 200 domestic and foreign representatives before the fifth expo. The Myanmar delegation arrived back Yangon yesterday.— Myanmar News Agency
