Nay Pyi Taw, 19 Aug—Two typhoons are forecast to move westward and northwestward across the Pacific Ocean, but it remains uncertain whether they will affect Myanmar, the emergency operation centre of Department of Relief and Resettlement said Wednesday.
Typhoons Goni and Atsani originated in the western Pacific on 11 and 12 August, respectively.
Level-3 Goni has registered wind speeds around 100 miles per hour, while level-4 Atsani has been recorded at 120 mph. MNA
