Training on research methods, PR, information management concludes

A training programme on research methodology, public relations, and information management concluded yesterday at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw.
The training was jointly conducted by the Ministry of Information and the Panna Institute, with the help of Konrad Adenauer Stifung (KAS Myanmar).
A total of 50 trainees from Union-level institutions and ministries attended the five-day training programme.
Speaking at the ceremony to conclude the training, Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun asked trainees to share the knowledge gained during training and serve the country by making the best use of their knowledge.
He also promised to conduct similar training programmes in the future, and encouraged sustainable learning among trainees. Lecturer U Htay Win Naing of Panna Institute and trainee Daw Myat Thiri Aye from the Ministry of Construction gave words of thanks. On behalf of the trainees, U Arkar Kyaw from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture accepted the completion certificates presented by U Htay Win Naing.
During the five-day training, trainees learnt about the forms of research, data collecting, making an assessment and finding solutions, forms of public relations, taking public opinions into consideration while drafting policies, management of data in the digital age, and management of information.—MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Lin)
