Train derailment injures one

A cargo train derailed at 6.45 am yesterday between Namkham and Gyohtaung stations in Wuntho Township, Sagaing region, resulting in the injury of an assistant locomotive driver.
No passengers were injured in the accident, which was the second train derailment in a week.
Engineers and volunteers were able to move the coach   of the train, which was enroute from Myitkyina to Mandalay, and repaired the tracks.
The tracks were reopened around 9 pm yesterday and train operators were warned to slow down when the crossing the repaired section.
Engineers are investigating the accident to determine the cause of the accident.
