Traditional bronze and iron materials being sold at pagoda festivals

FARMING tools and household utensils made of bronze and iron are traditionally sold in central dry zones, especiallyPyinmana and Tatkon in Nay Pyi Taw and Yamethin, Pyawbwe and Thazi townships in Mandalay Region.
Merchants normally sell bronze ware at the country’s pagoda festivals in those townships and including Nyaungshwe in Shan State.
Dealers mainly import bronze items from Meiktila and Pyawbwe in Mandalay Region. Some items such as vases are from Sagaing Region.
Bronze scissors made in Magway Regio, daggersfrom TadaU Township, traditional musical instruments from Yamethin Township and household utensils from Mandalay sell best.
