Tourists taking cruises along Chindwin River, motorcyclists coming in from east and west

With the cooperation of Ministry of Hotel and Tourism and travel tour companies, river cruises have been provided by national private river ships to interested foreign tourists. Road tours for cyclists have also been arranged.
Royal Voyages Co., Ltd had arranged a ten-day Chindwin river cruise for 10 foreign tourists from 25 September to 4 October. Via Mandalay, they embarked  ‘Pantaw’ ship at Kalaywa town  and  had stops at upper Chindwin ports of Masein-Mawleik-Kintat-Yuwa-Khawai-Sitthaung-Thaunhtut-Homlin and Khanti during the cruise. The tourists left from Mandalay. Similarly, the travel tour company also arranged a Chindwin river cruise by  ‘Pantaw’ ship for 8 British tourists  from 2-11 October. They came to Homlin airport and started from its port along Chindwin river, stopping at  over 10 ports including Monywa town.  They left from Mandalay international airport.
Moreover,Osuga Myanmar Travels & Tours Co.,Ltd had arranged for two British and one Australian  motorcyclists to visit Myanmar from 1-12 October. They came in from Myawaddy of Kayin State and took the Myawaddy-Kyaikhtiyo-Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Nyaungshwe-Inlay-Monpyin route and left from Tachilate of Shan State. Shwe Sinyeik Ngyein International Travels & Tours Co.,Ltd also arranged from 5-13 October for three British motorcyclists to enter from Tamu of Chin State of north-western Myanmar . They took the Tamu-Kalay-Monywa-Pagan-Mandalay-Nay Pyi Taw-Kyaikhto-Kyaihtiyo route and left Myanmar  via Myawaddy of south-eastern Myanmar.
As the tourist season has begun, more tourists in groups and individually are visiting Myanmar which expects 5 million tourists, this season.
