Tourism to increase in Bagan this year

Last year, about 250,000 tourists visited Bagan – one of Myanmar’s most significant ancient cultural sites.
About 200,000 tourists visited Bagan from January to September 2015.  The authorities expect to receive about 300,000 tourists in Bagan by 2015.
Tourists and pilgrims can visit Bagan through seven domestic airlines, by train or by car.
Shwezigon, Ananda, Gadawpalin, Htilo-Minlo, Lawkananda, Alodawpyae and other ancient pagodas attract visitors from all over the world.—Ministry of
