Time to distinguish the ordinary from the extraordinary

Everyone dreams of leading a better and more successful life in order to satisfy their insatiable thirst for constant improvement and betterment. This phenomenon is natural and as a result should not be interpreted as greed. A life driven by inspiration is sure to be fulfilling in the end because there is no such thing as something for nothing.
As is known to all, Rome was not built in a day. This reminds us that it takes time, hard work and patience to make dreams come true as flawlessly as possible. Everyone attributes hard work to success. There are situations in which hard work alone cannot help. Under such circumstances, patience seems to be a forgotten word. In connection with the importance of patience, Robert H. Schuller eloquently put that ‘tough times never last, but tough people do.’
In fact, patience is the quality of living in a difficult situation in hand and waiting for something better to happen, even if it takes months or years, as long as it lives up to our expectations. One must remain patient to achieve better things in life, so goes a Myanmar saying.
Lack of patience can affect our decisions and actions. We all want to keep ourselves aloof from inconveniences. Now is the time to have the sense to practice passivity against negativity and distinguish the ordinary from the extraordinary. After all, unpleasant situations are regarded as stepping stones to success.
