Three representatives take oath before Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker

THE Pyithu Hluttaw put on record yesterday messages of congratulations sent by foreign parliamentary speakers to its speaker.
Speakers from Thailand, Turkey, Singapore, North Korea, India, South Korea, Lebanon, Pakistan and Iran sent congratulatory messages to the new House Speaker U Win Myint.
Dr Sai Mauk Kham of Lashio constituency, U Nyan Tun of the Zegon constituency and U Maung Myint of the Minkin constituency took the oath in the presence of the speaker.
The parliament approved a replacement for Daw Su Su Lwin with U Zaw Thein as chairman of its International Relations Committee.
Daw Su Su Lwin represented Thonkhwa constituency and U Zaw Thein represented Wakhema constituency. The parliament will meet on 4 April.—Myanmar News Agency
