THE Byaing-in Lake, located three miles northeast of Tatkon, has been successfully de-silted. The project began on 5 August when the Irrigation Department started dredging the lake using K114.174 million provided by the Nay Pyi Taw Council. The dredging was completed in October.
Under the authority of the Irrigation Department, Mon Dam will supply water to the lake.
At present, Byaing-in Lake is able to supply potable water to local communities.
