State Counsellor visits National Museum (Nay Pyi Taw).

STATE Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi stressed the need for international coordination to develop museums and make sure museums run successfully with the exhibition of items of historical significance including cultural heritage objects during her tour of the National Museum in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The State Counsellor visited halls with displays of objects from prehistoric times and observed primate exhibits and fossils.
Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko and Permanent Secretary Dr Daw Nanda Hmum conducted her around the museum.
The National Museum (Nay Pyi Taw) is located on Yaza Thingaha Road in Ottarathiri Township and has been open to the public since 5 July, 2015.
