STATE Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi visited the Defence Services Museum in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The State Counsellor was welcomed by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Service Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win as well as other officials.

The State Counsellor and the Senior General viewed photographs of the Chiefs of Defence Services and other former high ranking service members.
They then observed displays of ancient fossils, ancient military equipment, military equipment used in the time of British colonial rule, weapons and equipment used by the Burma Independence Army and Burma Defence Army, items used by General Aung San and historic treaties signed with Britain during the time of the independence struggle as well historical recordings from the time of independence until the modern day.
