Solar panels delivered to villagers in Maungtaw

Rakhine State government distributed solar panels to villagers in Maungtaw yesterday.
Maungtaw Township management committee presented the solar panels to the villagers at the Trane village primary school in northern Maungtaw Township yesterday morning.
The event was attended by Maungtaw Township chief administrator, township police head, officials from township land record department and township planning department and local people. Security is very important for this area and for the local people, Tatmadaw and border police are increasing the momentum and to provide security to the people at night, solar parnels are provided under the arrangement of Rakhine State government said an official.
Ethnic people are living in the village of 84 households and will be expanded by another 50 households. Nearly 90 sets of solar panels, lamp and fluorescent tube were delivered to the villagers.
