Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister calls on Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker

Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw Thura U Shwe Mann received Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Mr Teo Chee Hean and party at Zabuthiri Hall of Pyithu Hluttaw, here, on Wednesday.
They held talks on national unity, national reconciliation, internal peace-making process, discussions on amendment of the 2008 constitution, cooperation in technology and human resource development, bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by chairmen of Pyithu Hluttaw committees and members of Legal Affairs and Special Cases Assessment Commission, officials of the Pyithu Hluttaw Office and Singaporean Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Robert Chua. The Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister and party observed the 66th-day session of Pyithu Hluttaw.
