THE Interim Myanmar Scouts Committee and senior scouts will discuss the necessary measures to meet the conditions for Myanmar’s recognition as a full member of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement at the Diamond Jubilee Hall at Yangon University at 1pm on 6 December.
The Myanmar Scout Federation will send invitations to senior scouts.
Scout activities began in Myanmar around 1916, but the activities halted in 1962. Myanmar resumed scout activities during the 2012-13 academic year.
The Asia-Pacific Scouts Region and the World Organisation of the Scout Movement have been providing advice and training courses to Myanmar since 2013.
