Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Minister of Public Security of China Mr Guo Sheng Kun at the latter’s office on Wednesday.
They discussed security affairs on over 2,000 km long border, security cooperation along the Mekong river, drug eradication and human trafficking, transnational crimes and anti-terrorism cooperation.
The Chinese minister hosted a luncheon in honor of the Myanmar defence services delegation.
On the same day, the senior general visited Guangdong Province and met with Political Officer of Southern Command General Wei Liang, who hosted a dinner in honour of the Myanmar military delegation.
Then, the senior general and party made a cruise tour along Shu Jiang River and viewed a submarine.
The senior general arrived back in Yangon yesterday afternoon.
