Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits Cambodia, meets Deputy Prime Minister

Defence Services Commander-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is currently on a goodwill visit to Cambodia, met the country’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Gen. Tea Banh yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting, they discussed matters concerning cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
In the evening, Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief General Pol Saroeun hosted a dinner in honour of the Senior General and delegation at the Grand Ball Room of the Sokha Hotel in Phnom Penh.
Earlier yesterday, the Senior General and delegation visited Peace Palace and the Tuol Sleng Genocide museum. The delegation then visited the Myanmar military (Army, Navy, Air) attaché’s office and met the Myanmar ambassador and wife, and family members of the embassy.
The Senior General and wife gave gifts, foodstuff and garments from the Tadmataw Textile and Clothing Factory and cash to staff of the embassy and military attaché’s office and the state scholars in Phnom Penh. After that the staff families of the embassy hosted a luncheon in honour of the Senior General and party.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and party left Pochentong Military Airport for Siem Reap at 4pm local time, arriving at Siem Reap Air Base headquarters at 5:30 pm. They were welcomed by Major General Sok Saroeum from No. 4 Military Region, Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and military officials at the airport.—Myanmar News Agency
