Nay Pyi Taw, 3 July —There is no reason for the Tatmadaw to deviate from the political path to multi-party democracy, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing told cadets at the Officer Training School in Bahtoo Station on Friday.
Also present were Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Thura Thet Swe, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint, senior officers from the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Eastern Command Maj-Gen Aye Win, and officers and instructors from the Bahtoo Station.
Then, the senior general presented Shwe Phi Oo instant coffee and books for the cadets while Lt-Gen Aung Than Htut presented sport equipment for the trainee officers.
Later, the senior general and party cordially greeted the cadets and proceeded to the military hospital in Bahtoo, where the senior general comforted patients and provided food and cash for them.
Afterwards, the senior general visited WO and Sgt training school in Bahtoo and enjoyed lunch with the trainees before cordially greeting them.
Then, the senior general and party inspected maintenance, repair and construction of a sport stadium, a judo room and a soccer field, before visiting Historical Museum of the Officer Training School. Myawady
