Senior General inspects 500-year-old-moat

Commander-in-Chief of  Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with defence services personnel in Ottwin Station on Tuesday.
Also present was Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air Force) and Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint. The senior general also inspected the renovation of the 500-year-old moat of Ketumati Toungoo. The senior general offered Tatmadaw’s help in renovation of the moat, as the moat could be a key driver of local tourism.
After delivering a speech at Ottwin station, the senior general, Quartermaster General Lt-Gen Nyo Saw and Lt-Gen Thein Htay presented books, gifts, foods and sporting gear to defence services personnel.—Myawady
