Sagaing Region Govt to establish water amusement park in Monywa

A plan is underway to build a water amusement park at international level at a cost of US$5 million in Monywa, the city of Sagaing Region.
Sagaing Region government and Media One Company Ltd will construct the buildings on a 5-acre land, hotel on a one-acre land and water tank on a 1.5-acre land. According to another plan, a low-cost housing will be constructed on a six-acre plot.
The housing will include 17 five-storey buildings with 340 apartments at a cost of US$10 million.
Sagaing Region Minister for Development Affairs U Tin Hlaing Myint submitted a proposal on construction project to the region Hluttaw on 22 July.
The project will create job opportunities for the local residents from Monywa and nearby regions and develop tourism industry.
