The Road Transportation Administration Department (RTAD) will not permit registration of right-hand drive passenger buses in 2017.
Currently, old buses are allowed to deregister when they are replaced with newly imported buses. Additionally, the import of left-hand drive buses will not require the presentation of a registration slip.
Also, the RTAD will reportedly not permit the import of left-hand drive buses unless the vehicle has seatbelts.
The RTAD will soon release an official announcement concerning this matter, said an official from RTAD.—200
