Rakhine State Government signs MoU with Embassy of India

A signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for 15 tractor, 15 harvesting machines to be donated to Rakhine State Ministry for Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and Mine and 40 sets of computer to be donated to the University of Computer Studies was held at Sittway Hotel in Sittway yesterday.
The ceremony was attended by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu, State Ministers, and departmental officials, officials led by Indian Ambassador to Myanmar, Mr. Vikram Misri and farmers.
First, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu delivered the opening speech.
Next, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar, Mr Vikram Misri, explained about the aim for the donation along with signing the
MoU.
Afterwards, a representative of the farmers expressed his words of thanks.
The MoU was signed and exchanged by Rakhine State Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and Mine and Indian Ambassador to Myanmar, Mr. Vikram Misri, in the presenceof the Rakhine State Chief Minister.
