Rakhine State Chief Minister meets journalists

Chief Minister U Nyi Pu clarifies stability and development in Rakhine State to journalists.

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu met with a group of independent journalists at the office of Rakhine State Government yesterday.
At the meeting, the chief minister clarified policies for stability of Rakhine State, international relations and cooperation, performing duties with accountability, consequent attacks, measures for trust building and upgrading Khamaingseik and Myinlook villages into towns during the fiscal year, border trade, offshore fishing measures taken to return to normalcy.
The journalists viewed round the viewpoint and upgrading work along Strand Road and implementation of Kalatan River Comprehensive Development Project, Seiyokya and Thetkalpyin IDP camps.
The local and foreign journalists left Sittway for Yangon in the evening.
